Trick or Treat?

“It's Halloween; everyone's entitled to one good scare.”

Halloween Saying

‘What am I afraid of, really?’ Do you ever ask yourself this question,

dear reader?

I surely do. And on a regular base even. For example, when I hold myself back from making that next move, even though I know it is the right decision, yet feel scared, because I don’t know what’s really gonna come out of it.

Or: When I question my recent decisions, my recent actions, the moment I understand how little I am prepared for the new challenges I got myself into.

Or: When I realise, that over and over again I feel naked in life, because I start over and over every time I find the bravery to rise up to the next level, which is wild, and unknown, and scary in itself. I don’t know my way through it. I don’t know what awaits me here. I don’t know who will I become — and even worse: I don’t know, if others can accept the one I will be turning into.

And then there I am, lonely and scared — For a moment or two. At every new beginning, I am woozy, hesitant, and insecure, aka afraid — And it is ok, because essentially I am deeply faithful, that everything is as it’s supposed to be, and that we, as individual people, as collective beings, as a society, are on the RISE, as long as we remember to be conscious, kind, brave, and truthful.

How can I be so sure, you may ask?

Well, I have fought for it. I have fought to find this believe to be true, because I sincerely wanted to leave the darkness, of not being present in my life, behind. I wanted and I have unlocked a mechanism, which invites fear to become an engine, so I can accept a challenge when I see one, and create conscious growth from it, which inevitably turns into deep trust.

The more we realise and welcome the inherent power of faith, which lies on the bottom of the ocean called fear, the more obvious it becomes, that we are equipped with all it takes, to swim, to dive, to uplift and to thrive, no matter the challenge.

That mechanism I speak of is for everyone, and it settles in by walking the walk, by using the techniques and the abilities they form. All techniques, that I am passing on to you, first found me, when I needed them most. And I have used all, studied most, and mastered some. Still working on, and with them, on a daily base. And it begins by understanding that fear is in fact trust — when we allow it to do its job.

Spiritually speaking, fear is an energy, that shows us the way into taking action, into feeling discomfort and maybe even pain. It is an energy that sparks creativity in finding the kind of solutions, that really make a difference, for ourselves and the people we long to be with. Fear teaches us to become the light in the dark. To become ourselves, what we falsely think needs to come from the others. Let me give you a picture: how do you think, could others ever notice us, when we linger in the darkness, hiding, holding back, too scared to speak or move or come forth ourselves? How can they even know, that we are there, if we don’t show ourselves in whatever way possible?! How can they ever help, if they don’t know who to help with what?!

Remember: If we want others to light up our lives, to take away the fears and replace them with trust, we first need to find the light inside, to show them our needs, so they can answer to our call, with what they find fit.

Unless we become the torch, that lights up the path to living truthfully, dedicated and purposeful — others can’t match that vibration, nor our visions, nor our longings. Others can only help us, when we ask them to do so. Therefore they need to know we are there. Therefore we need to be brave.

Back in 2014, when I was struck with my own panic attacks, I couldn’t help but wonder: what is this life really about? What is my place in this world, and what drives me really? Is this life with living it? Or not?! — No-one but myself was able to provide me with answers. My only chance was to bravely say: let’s find out and I found them inside the stillness of letting go of who I thought I had to be.

‘Behind the noise of our false expectations, we can finally expect the silent truth, that really is us.’

Back in the days the first person to witness the tiny light, I had found the bravery to carry, was my therapist; he nurtured and challenged, assisted and questioned, derailed and regained me in silent patience and with ongoing trust. Nowadays he has become my teacher, and soon I will teach his findings in combination with my own. The word is of KLAUS BERNHARDT. Bestselling author of three Spiegel bestselling books around his BERNHARDT METHOD, targeting panic attacks and fears, trauma and compulsory behaviour, to leave a life lived in the shadows of a self, drowned in suffering and hiding.

I have not only had the luck to meet him when I needed him most, but to be trained and chosen by him as a lead facilitator in Switzerland and trainer for the US market. Can you hear what I am saying? Bravery does not only show us the way out, but provides us with the way into something much grander.

Which brings me to the next great news. In November I am starting my own practice in Lucerne, alongside two medical doctors, gut specialists, epigenetic and orthomolecular physicians at NUTRICUM Lucerne. I will be there for all who seek help for their psychosomatic suffering, causing you pain and discomfort, and keeping you from really living this life, your life. I am here to teach you to teach yourself what life is all about, and how to restore faith in yourself and this world.

Remember, when you were a kid and the world was your oyster? Remember that feeling, when you had no clue what waits behind the horizon, but you simply had to find out? Remember, when all options were available within the world of your imagination? And remember, how no matter what it is you chose to do or play, it was not an idea, you simply lived it?!

How would you feel, if this was your true state again? Despite the many times you fell and failed since. Despite the hurting and disappointment, the traumatic experiences and lonely paths you walked. I am sure you remember the many times you whispered to yourself: never ever agin. No more. I can’t continue. Leading you into downsizing your true self, always aware, not to step on other people shoes, swapping bravery for hold backs.

What if all those bad experiences didn’t matter, and you could back to the fantasy life you once saw, and felt, and pretended; only this time you see, and feel, and do?!

With this new technique I am bringing in addition to my other tools, ranging from meditation to breath, from body works to change of perspective, with this one, I am passing on the option to spread hope and lust and joy and strength in a simple but massive container.

Why am I so certain about it? Because I was at the bottom of the barrel, and I now love my life, and I live it more consciously every day.

I have trained with this technique, and now I am bringing it to you!

Do I still know fear? Of course I do, and I do love it. I am here to listen, learn, harness its power and teach you how to do the same. I am happy to provide sessions online, in Switzerland and Berlin starting this fall. Getting you ready to release the ghosts of your past sustainably and with the help of your own mind.

ALL HALLOWS EVE EXPLAINED

Halloween, contraction of All Hallows’ Eve, a holiday observed on October 31, the evening before All Saints’ (or All Hallows’) Day. The celebration marks the day before the Western Christian feast of All Saints and initiates the season of Allhallowtide, which lasts three days and concludes with All Souls’ Day. In much of Europe and most of North America, observance of Halloween is largely nonreligious.

Halloween had its origins in the festival of Samhain among the Celts of ancient Britain and Ireland. On the day corresponding to November 1 on contemporary calendars, the new year was believed to begin. That date was considered the beginning of the winter period, the date on which the herds were returned from pasture and land tenures were renewed. During the Samhain festival the souls of those who had died were believed to return to visit their homes, and those who had died during the year were believed to journey to the otherworld. People set bonfires on hilltops for relighting their hearth fires for the winter and to frighten away evil spirits, and they sometimes wore masks and other disguises to avoid being recognized by the ghosts thought to be present. It was in those ways that beings such as witches, hobgoblins, fairies, and demons came to be associated with the day. The period was also thought to be favourable for divination on matters such as marriage, health, and death. When the Romans conquered the Celts in the 1st century CE, they added their own festivals of Feralia, commemorating the passing of the dead, and of Pomona, the goddess of the harvest. (…)
